Nice restaurant in Rådhuset metro station

Yesterday my friends and I met a small restaurant called Jabena Segen just outside the ticket hall of Rådhuset metro station, exit Kungsholmsgatan.

This is an eritrean restaurant, it was my first time there, so I ordered a combination of meat and vegetarian dishes for 139 kronor. Served on a pancake (injera) eaten with your hands and more pancake. At first it didn't look like there was much food, but that pancake was filling. Served with the pancake was a beef stew, a grilled chicken leg with sauce, an egg, salad, another kind of sauce, a lentil or bean mash and spinach. The only thing I didn't like was the spinach, but the rest was delicious. Spicy and wonderful!!

Of course I forgot the camera and also my hands got a bit sticky. But this link gives a good idea of what it looked like http://www.gastronautadventures.com/sv/blog/view/making_injera_wat

Exam period snack 1

I'm busy studying for my statistics exam for the I don't know, the i:th time and for me it's really important not to be hungry when I'm studying or working in general actually - if I don't eat, I can't work, it's that simple.

My boyfriend made a sandwich-version of this snack for me many times when I was in Holland. Slice some avocado and brie, put on toasted bread, one of the best sandwiches I know!

Because of the lousy bread here in Sweden (I only eat knäckebröd) I opt for a simpler version: Just avocado and brie. Cut the avocado in two, put some lemon juice, salt and pepper on the halves, slice the brie - and you're done!

I would like more easy quick snacks for the exam period, if any of my readers have some recipes, let me know ^^

New coffee

For many days now I've only had coffee at the office, but today I worked from home (exam period!) and decided to go and buy some new coffee. I chose this one from Gevalia: Caribbean Sunrise. Lively and aromatic it said on the pack... and that's correct, really tasty coffee. For 400 grams 42.90 kr, I returned my bottles, so I only paid 24 kr - Perfect!
